Love this film! Weird as hell but very cool (even if you don’t do drugs). I thought I’d try to reimagine what the poster would like today for this film. If you have seen the film you will understand the theme and composition better.

In 1973 a very unique and imaginative movie was made by French director Rene Laloux called “La Planète Sauvage”. Later adapted to English audiences by Roger Corman it won the Cannes Film Festival Special Jury prize in 1973.

Definitely a great animated film, very specific style for the time of psychedelic and surreal environments and beings. The story itself is deep and has many undertones of the Soviet Occupation of the Czech Republic. Poster is a re-imagination of the film if it were to be released today in a more modern, realistic and textured treatment.
